We have decided as a family that every Friday evening would be an evening spent with grandma. It would be lovely to hang out as a family, in small groups, and take grandma out for dinner.
Last Friday, I was craving for dinner in a posh environment. I dragged the family along to level 3 of Westgate where Paradise Dynasty was. The food was obviously good as the restaurant was packed. We were handed a number and waited outside the restaurant where there were benches for grandma to rest while waiting for our turn.
There was a 30% discount on four or five dishes, and we decided to go with those dishes on promotion. The first dish we ordered was Stir-Fried Shredded Pork with Black Bean Sauce Served with Chinese Crepes (U.P. $13.80). It’s the first dish photographed in this post. It was really interesting to eat it because the pork looked like noodles, and we could wrap the strands of pork up with crepe paper. I also added ginger strips for that extra kick.
This photo above is Scrambled Egg White with Fish and Dried Scallop (U.P. $13.80). There was also 30% off and this was a dish we seldom get to eat. It was really yummy and went well with rice.
You would also have noticed that we’ve ordered Stir Fried French Beans with Minced Pork, as well as Fried Chicken – these dishes were not on promotion but we ordered them anyway as per grandma’s cravings!
I believe we also ordered a soup titled Double-Boiled Chicken Soup with Abalone and Sea Whelk. That was also on 30% off.
All in all, our damage was $98. Not bad for a sumptuous, tasty dinner for four!
