It was a lovely weekend and we wanted to bring grandma out for lunch. There was no better way to celebrate her Peranakan heritage than to bring her to Ivins at Binjai Park!

Menus were placed at each seat, which also functioned as a place mat. We ordered Ayam Buah Keluak and Iteh Sioh, pictured below.

We also ordered Bakwan Kepeting, as you can see in the background in this photo below.

I felt that the dishes worked for me, but my grandma being a seasoned home chef felt that her dishes would have tasted better. Ah well. At least we gave it a shot!

The portion of the three dishes were perfect for the two of us. We wrapped up our meal with Chendol. I hope she enjoyed the meal, or at least, the company!
