Oktoberfest Asia returns for the 6th year!

No you don’t have to fly to Germany to go bottomless!

I mean. If you haven’t already been to Oktoberfest Asia, you absolutely MUST! What’s October without BEER?

For four days in October, expect a variety of free flow beer from German breweries such as Paulaner Bräuhaus, Bitburger, Weihenstephan and Benediktiner! There will also be Festival Beers brewed specially for the event.

Can’t pronounce these names? Don’t worry, just drink up!

The event also promises German delicacies by Shiso as well as entertainment by the amazing Bavarian Oompah band, Rock Oompahs.

Oktoberfest Asia is, after all, Singapore’s biggest and most authentic Oktoberfest. Festival-goers can party in a fully air-conditioned marquee at Tan Quee Lan Street from 18 – 21 October.

If you’re getting VIP tickets, you’re in luck! A special Oktoberfest Buffet Menu will be specially prepared for you. Sunday is a must-go for families as well as you get to keep your kids busy with game stalls, bouncy castles and lots of fun fringe activities – while you drink away!

Largest Attendance Ever at Beerfest Asia 2018

Beerfest Asia celebrated its 10th anniversary with its largest attendance ever! And it’s now set for regional expansion. Next stop: Beerfest Asia-Shandong, the first Beerfest Asia edition in China! (Location: Wonder Stone Park in China, 1 to 7 October)

36,500 visitors enjoyed 600 different beers, local and international gastronomic delights and “live” entertainment by tribute bands, homegrown bands and DJs at this year’s Beerfest Asia X Edition, which was held at new venue The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay from 30 August to 2 September. It was also the biggest venue to date, with five arenas spanning an area of 22,000 sqm.

Limited edition Beerfest Asia “Birthday Beers” were created for the special occasion by various breweries from around the world. They were a hit with beer lovers, and Beer Halia by 1925 Brewing Co was sold out by the second day!

Mr Dave Langlands, Export Manager from Moon Dog Craft Brewery, said: “Moon Dog loved being involved in Beerfest Asia X Edition. We loved creating a special beer to celebrate the event and had a great time talking to everyone about our beer. The event was great for our exposure in the Singapore market and the Gold Medal for our pale ale at the Asia Beer Awards certainly helped too!”

Keeping true to Beerfest Asia’s tradition of good music, international tribute acts Killer Queen, The U2 Show Achtung Baby and Viva Coldplay rocked the stage alongside local bands Supersonic, Rock Rosettes, The Good Karma, Welcome To The Machine and local club DJs like DJ Red, DJ Sakura and DJ Zig Zach. The Comedy Club sessions and beer workshops were also well received. Yikes. We got to be back for more next year!

Visitors enjoyed their beers with a mouthwatering mix of local and international fare such as chilli crab from No Signboard seafood (omg), Meatball in a Bucket by Sofnade, BBQ Pork Ribs by Brewerks, Satay Pork Cubes by Yan, Number One Burger by 25 Degrees, Roasted Char Siew by Char, and authentic German cuisine by BB&B!

Sunday was also family day at Beerfest Asia 2018 as parents brought their children and pets to join in the fun with carnival game stalls and inflatables.

Mr Othmane Amrani, General Manager of Hotel G Singapore, said: “Hotel G Singapore, Ginett and 25 Degrees are extremely proud to have been partners of Beerfest 2018! It was an amazing collaboration and we look forward to 2019, and a bigger and better event.”

We can’t wait to see Beerfest Asia expand to other major cities in Asia. We look forward to an even bigger Beerfest Asia in 2019!
